Day 01
Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi International Airport. You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Stay at The Taj Mahal Hotel for 2 nights, a first-class period hotel.
Day 02
Delhi
Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of the historical city of Delhi, beginning in the wide avenues of New Delhi, to see Lutyen’s buildings and the India Gate memorial, along with the impressive tomb of Humayun and Qutab Minar. You also visit the bustling and vibrant streets of Old Delhi to see the Jama Masjid and Rajghat. You will also have an opportunity to take a rickshaw ride through the streets of Old Delhi before heading back to your hotel.
Day 03
Delhi - Agra
Drive to Agra in the morning. On arrival check-in to the ITC Mughal for the night, a first class modern hotel. Visit the impressive Agra Fort and the tomb of Itamud-ud-Daula. Later you visit the Taj Mahal to see it as the light changes at the sunset.
Day 04
Agra - Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur, en-route you will stop to explore a real-life ghost town: the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fatehpur Sikri. Stay for two nights at Samode Haveli, a first class heritage haveli.
Day 05
Jaipur
Visit the stunning 17th century hilltop Amer Fort in the morning. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, City Palace and drive through the colourful bazaars to see the Hawa Mahal. Evening is free to explore the lively markets.
Day 06
Cochin
Today you’ll fly from Jaipur to Cochin, on arrival transferred to your hotel in Fort Cochin. Stay for two nights at The Brunton Boatyard, a first-class period hotel overlooking the harbour. Enjoy Kathakali dance show, the traditional dance drama of Kerala. In the evening witness Kathakali dance performance, the traditional dance drama of Kerala based on stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata. Accompanied by a gong, drums and cymbals, Kathakali performers combine dance and theatre in a ritualistic portrayal of gods and demons.
Day 07
Cochin
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin & Mattancherry in the morning. Visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St Francis Church, Spice Markets, Chinese Fishing Nets and the local fish market. In the evening enjoy a private sunset cruise along the harbour.
Day 08
Kumarakom
A short drive will take you to Kumarakom famous for its tranquil backwaters. On arrival check-in to Coconut Lagoon for the night, a heritage backwater resort overlooking the Vembanad Lake for the night. Remainder of the day at leisure to relax by the backwaters or to experience some authentic ayurvedic therapies at the Ayurveda spa.
Day 09
Houseboat
Afternoon board your private houseboat (Kettuvallom) for an overnight cruise through the famous Vembanad Lake. Enjoy a relaxing cruise through the tranquil backwaters and narrow canals enjoying the village life. Your lunch, evening tea and dinner will be served on board the houseboat. Overnight on houseboat
Day 10 & 11
Mararikulam
After a leisurely breakfast, you disembark from the houseboat where you’ll be met by the driver and transferred to Mararikulam, a quaint little sleepy fishing village north of Alleppey. Enjoy a relaxing stay at Marari Beach Resort for two nights, a first class beach resort in fishermen dwellings style. Remainder of the day at leisure to relax by the beach or to experience some authentic ayurvedic therapies at the Ayurveda Spa.
Day 12
Transfer To Cochin Airport
Like all good things, your tour in India comes to an end but you will always carry with you, memories of this unique and unforgettable holiday experience. In goodtime you will be transferred to Cochin International Airport to connect your flight home.
