Day 01
Arrive Delhi – Jaipur
On arrival at Delhi Airport, change for your connecting flight to Jaipur. You will be met on arrival at Jaipur Airport and transferred to your hotel. Stay at Samode Haveli for three nights. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 02 - 03
Jaipur
Visit the stunning 17th century hilltop Amer Fort in the morning. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, City Palace and drive through the colourful bazaars to see the Hawa Mahal. Evening is free to explore the lively markets.
Day 04
Jaipur - Pushkar
After breakfast, drive to the town of Pushkar. A tiny town in the middle of Rajasthan, the Holy lake of Pushkar is simply magical. The charm of this sleepy, lakeside settlement so captivated the great Indian poet, Kalidas, that it found a place in his classics. Stay for two nights at Hotel Pushkar Palace.
Day 05
Pushkar
Pushkar, is one of India’s holiest Hindu sites, and among its most scenic. Overlooked by beautiful desert hills, its focal point is a pearl shaped lake surrounded by bathing ghats (steps), and more than four hundred temples. Visit the temple in the town along with the lake and markets.
Day 06
Pushkar - Bikaner
This morning drive to Bikaner, a vibrant, dust-swirling desert town with a fabulous fort and an energising outpost feel. Stay for two nights at Narendra Bhawan, a heritage boutique hotel. Bikaner comprises imposing palaces and beautiful, richly sculptured temples of red and yellow sandstone.
Day 07
Bikaner
Head out to experience the village life of Rajasthan and explore the epic, golden sand dunes of the Thar Desert. Enjoy a tonga (horse-carriage) ride through the narrow lanes of the city. Later visit the Junagarh Fort….an unassailable fortress, its Museums and Camel Breeding Farm.
Day 08
Bikaner – Jaisalmer
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer, which lies in the heart of the Thar Desert…a city seeped in colour and rich tradition; it was once a major centre on the trading route between India and the west. Stay for two nights at Suryagarh, a luxury Rajasthani heritage style, desert-set hotel.
Day 09
Jaisalmer
Today morning enjoy a sightseeing of Jaisalmer, including the Fort, Gadisar Lake, intricately carved Haveli and Jain temple. The town has an enchanting web of narrow lanes dotted with exquisite havelis. Later afternoon, enjoy a half-day tour of the Sand Dunes of the Thar Desert… 30 kms from Jaisalmer are the sand dunes of Sam. Stop in between to take photographs, play on the sand dunes or just admire the natural beauty of the desert.
Day 10
Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Today drive to Manvar, an ideal base to explore Indian desert life, culture, wildlife and landscape of breathtaking beauty. It offers a stark and contrasting desert experience. Today Manvar nestles close to the ground, almost blending with the surrounding landscape - it has not only become a tourist destination but also an economic hub from which a large portion of the neighboring villages draw their sustenance. Thereafter continue to Jodhpur. Stay for two nights at The Rohet House, a heritage boutique hotel.
Day 11
Jodhpur
Rise early this morning for a jeep safari to the tribal villages of Bishnoi. Visit the majestic hill top Mehrangarh fort that contains one of Rajasthan's best museums and Jaswant Thada in the afternoon. Drive through the old city's maze of streets and lanes through gates, bastions and towers before returning to your hotel.
Day 12
Jodhpur - Udaipur
Drive to the beautiful city of Udaipur today stopping at the stunning Jain temple at Rankapur. Built on the banks of serene Lake Pichola, Udaipur is also known as the city of lakes. Stay at The Trident Udaipur for two nights. In the evening enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 13
Udaipur
This morning, explore the interesting and beautiful sights in Udaipur visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, and Saheliyon Ki Bari or ‘Garden of Maids’. Later, visit the colourful bazaars and lively market places.
Day 14
Transfer to Udaipur Airport
Like all good things, your tour in India comes to an end but you will always carry with you, memories of this unique and unforgettable holiday experience. In goodtime you will be transferred to Udaipur Airport to board your return flight via Delhi / Mumbai.
