Day 01
Arrive Hyderabad
On arrival, in Hyderabad, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Stay at Taj Falaknuma Palace for three nights. Built in 1894, it is the former palace of the Nizam, rumoured to be the richest man in the world at one time. Spread over 32 acres, this glorious hotel is under the auspices of Taj Group who have spent years restoring it to its former glory. It is, without doubt, one of the most spectacular hotels in India now and one could spend a day just exploring the hotel. This evening go on a heritage walk with the hotel's resident historian for an insightful and entertaining walk around the palace. You start the Champagne Palace Walk at sunset but end enlightened by the past, on this time traveller’s escape in to the Nizam’s stories.
Day 02 - 03
Hyderabad
No place can give you a glimpse of Hyderabadi life like the Charminar area can. Walk through Laad Bazaar and get dazzled by the shiny lac bangles that Hyderabad is known for and take the by-lanes to meet the master craftsmen behind this. Walk into the chaos of fluttering pigeons in the Mecca Masjid courtyard and then onto the simplicity of the Nizam's tombs. Visit the Chowmahalla Palace and take a walk around the palace complex to see the opulence with which this Nizams of Hyderabad lived and ruled. Explore the impressive Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi Tombs and the Paigah Tombs.
Day 04
Hyderabad - Jaipur
Fly to Jaipur. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Stay at Rambagh Palace for three nights. Originally built in 1835, Rambagh Palace, has stepped gracefully through many royal transitions—from the home of the queen’s favourite handmaiden, to royal guesthouse and hunting lodge, and later as the residence of the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen, Maharani Gayatri Devi. Today, this is stunningly restored palace hotel in Jaipur which were the chambers of the former Maharaja.
Day 05 - 06
Jaipur
Visit the stunning 17th century hilltop Amer Fort in the morning. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, City Palace and drive through the colourful bazaars to see the Hawa Mahal. Evening is free to explore the lively markets.
Day 07
Jaipur - Jodhpur
Fly to Jodhpur. On arrival, you will be met by representative and transferred to your hotel. Stay at Umaid Bhawan Palace for three nights.
Day 08 - 09
Jodhpur
Over the next two days, explore the blue city of Jodhpur. Rise early morning for a jeep safari to the tribal villages of Bishnoi. Visit the majestic hill top Mehrangarh fort that contains one of Rajasthan's best museums and Jaswant Thada in the afternoon. Drive through the old city's maze of streets and lanes through gates, bastions and towers before returning to your hotel.
Day 10
Jodhpur - Udaipur
Drive to the beautiful city of Udaipur today stopping at the stunning Jain temple at Rankapur. Built on the banks of serene Lake Pichola, Udaipur is also known as the city of lakes. Stay at Taj Lake Palace for three nights. This palace built by Maharana Jagat Singh on an island on Lake Pichola in 1743 is now a majestic and magnificient Taj Lake Palace of Udaipur. Its location on an island in the midst of a lake affords every room breathtaking views of the neighbouring City Palace, Aravalli Hills, Machla Magra Hills and Jag Mandir.
Day 11 - 12
Udaipur
Explore the interesting and beautiful sights in Udaipur visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, and Saheliyon Ki Bari or ‘Garden of Maids’. Visit the colourful bazaars and lively market places.
Day 13
Udaipur - Mumbai
Fly to Mumbai. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Stay at the luxurious Taj Mahal Palace for three nights. This legendary 5 star hotel in Mumbai has played host to kings, dignitaries and eminent personalities from across the globe, and is acknowledged as a world leader in hospitality. The Taj Mahal Palace is walking distance from Colaba Causeway, known for its touristy tiny roadside shops.
Day 14 - 15
Mumbai
Explore the cosmopolitan city of Mumbai over the next two days. Mumbai is the commercial capital of India, and a fast paced, cosmopolitan city. Visit the Gateway of India, situated at Apollo Bunder. It was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India in 1911. Visit the Prince of Wales Museum, which houses a priceless collection of art, sculpture, china and other antiques. Drive past the Victoria Terminus, Mumbai University and Rajabai Clock Tower. Make a photo stop at Dhobi Ghat, the open-air laundry of the city.
Day 16
Transfer to Mumbai Airport
