Day 01
Bangalore
On arrival, in Bangalore, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Stay at Taj Bangalore for the night. Enjoy an orientation tour of Bangalore in the evening.
Day 02
Bangalore - Hassan
After breakfast, drive to Hassan. Stay at Hoysala Village for the night. Visit the intricately carved Hoysala temples of Belur and Halebidu in the evening.
Day 03
Hassan - Mysore
After breakfast, drive to Mysore visiting the monolithic statue of Gomatheswara at Sravanbelgolaen route. Stay at Royal Orchid Metropole for 02 nights. Visit Chamundi Hills and the colourful fruit and vegetable Devaraja market in the evening.
Day 04
Mysore
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mysore visiting the Mysore Palace, Nandi Bull, Tippu’s Summer Palace and the ruins of the Fort. You also have the option to visit Rangathitto Bird Sanctuary and enjoy a row boat cruise on the Cauvery River to see Eurasian Spoon Bills, Black Crowned Night Heron, different species of Commorants, River Terns and many other species of birds.
Day 05
Mysore - Kabini
After breakfast, drive to Nagarhole National Park. Stay at Kaav Safari Lodge for 02 nights. Enjoy a visit to the jungle this afternoon for a game drive. All activities inside the jungle are arranged by the wildlife authorities - a mix of jeep rides / motor boat trips and canoe rides; all on a shared basis.
Day 06
Kabini
Enjoy full day of jungle activities.
Day 07
Kabini - Wayanad
Enjoy a game drive in the morning. After breakfast drive to Wayanad. Stay at Tranquil Resort for 02 nights. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 08
Wayanad
Enjoy a visit to the nearby plantations – Coffee / Tea / Spices, visit the market and the Edakkal Caves.
Day 09
Wayanad - Nileshwar
This morning, drive to Nileshwar to board the luxury Lotus Houseboat for a relaxing 02 nights cruise through the backwaters of Malabar. You will board the rice barge in plenty of time for lunch and the afternoon is then spent lazing onboard as your ‘houseboat’ meanders through a tranquil network of canals and lakes formed by the rivers that flow down to the Arabian Sea from the hills inland along with the large lakes in the area.
Day 10
Backwaters of Malabar
Day at leisure cruising on the backwaters of Malabar. The Lotus follows a programme with village visits & other activities. Overnight on board the houseboat.
Day 11
Backwaters of Nileshwar
Late morning, disembark from the houseboat and you will be transferred to your beach resort in Nileshwar. Stay at Neeleshwar Hermitage for 03 nights. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 12 & 13
Nileshwar
Day at leisure to relax by the beach or to experience some authentic ayurvedic therapies at the resorts’ aryuveda centre.
Day 14
Kannur Airport Drop
In goodtime, you will be transferred to Kannur International Airport to board your return flight.
